This blog would not be possible without the kind support and assistance of the following (and ever-growing) list of individuals.
- Andrea Lowery, executive director of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission, and Karen Galle, coordinator of the Historical Marker Program
- My family, most particularly my husband Kevin (who thinks I can do anything) and my parents
- My network of friends, including guest star party members Andrea and Rachel
- Librarians and historical society members throughout the commonwealth, who are always ready to assist researchers like me with their quests
- All of the blog's guest photographers! Alphabetically, that thus far includes:
- Ron Bauerle
- Jeff Bush
- Sheila Clever
- Lisa Croizier
- Rachel Durs
- Andrea Gillette
- Brian Green
- Kevin Klotz
- Kaylee Lindenmuth
- Jonathan Miller
- John Robinson
- Debra Shankar
- Liza Shankar
- Ravi Shankar
As I've mentioned elsewhere, my mother's family has lived in eastern Pennsylvania since before the American Revolution. This blog is affectionately dedicated to the memory of my mother's parents, Edmund and Lucille (Rice) Kratzer, both of whom took great pride in their regional heritage and instilled it in me as I was growing up.
